Private horsemanship lessons - valuable investment
Private horsemanship lesson as an investment?
Private horsemanship lessons are probably not the first thing you think of when investments come to mind. Investments don't always pay the dividends we expect, and while my clients sometimes make large investments in their horses they don't always see their horsemanship as being priority. Not so with Michael Holland, who came to me last summer to purchase a really nice horse for trail riding. During our first conversations it was apparent to me that Michael wanted more than to just get on a horse and hope for the best, since he had been there and done that with disastrous results. He watched me demonstrate the training and riding methods I used at Keith Andries Horsemanship, and was convinced that he wanted to learn more. That's when the real investment started in my opinion. It's one thing to go out and invest in a really nice horse and still another to invest your time and money in YOURSELF to become the best horseman you can be and create a safe place for your horse to be..... with you. Thanks for all your hard work Michael, and I look forward to spending time with you and Christine this year!
Private horsemanship lessons offer great return!
Comments from clinic participant, Michael: “I purchased “Sundancer” from Keith Andries in September of 2013. I took about 50 hours of lessons from Keith based on natural horsemanship methods and was extremely pleased with the results. Keith is patient and has the same demeanor every time we met. He is very knowledgeable in how to train the horses and in how to train the rider also. Keith took stock in my level of ability and we proceeded from there. He was always patient with me when I made mistakes and praised when we got it right. Keith is one of the most knowledgeable trainers I have ever met. I was amazed at what I could get my horse to do after just a few lessons. My horse respects me and looks to me as a leader all based on the lessons Keith gave me. I highly recommend Keith Andries as someone you can trust. He will tell you the truth. His methods are good for the rider as well as the horse. In training the horse, his philosophy is doing as little as possible and only as much as necessary. And the horses respond to that very well. Do yourself a favor and take a few lessons from Keith and see for yourself.” Michael Holland, Houston
