Have you ever gone on a trail ride with someone on a spooky horse, or maybe you were riding the spooky horse? Unless you are totally oblivious to your surroundings and your horses behavior, it is not the relaxing, pleasurable ride you were hoping for. You never know what is going set off an insecure or inexperienced horse and potentially cause a serious problem. It does not have to be this way, so follow the lead of others who have attended my horsemanship clinics and do your best to make sure you and your horse is as prepared as possible.
