Training your horse to lead or follow on the trail.

Training your horse to be happy in front or behind on the trail.

Training your Paso Fino to lead or follow on the trail is not as hard as you may think, but it will take commitment , time, and some patience. Isnt it nice to be able to take your horse on a ride and not have to worry about how he will behave, depending on where you are on the ride? In other words, does he insist on being in the front or the rear to be content? Does he squeal or whinny if he's separated from his pasture buddy? With a few simple exercises I can help you with this problem. The two Pasos in the video are learning the KAH way. If your trail ride is more work than pleasure maybe it's because your horse isn't secure enough to ride wherever you choose to ride. For example, if you are at the rear of the ride and your horse is acting restless because maybe he is afraid he is being left, or he seems to need to always be in the front. Either way, you are in conflict with your horse most of the ride and not really getting the pleasure you both deserve.
